Ideas across traditions

A map lists works. This reads across them. For each of 103 concepts the library indexes, here are the canonical works on the four maps that use it, and, the point, the works in other traditions that use it too. A work is listed only where a translator flagged the word on a page as a technical term, or kept the original word beside the English; every line opens on that page. Traditions and works are ordered by the earliest composition date, never by how often the word occurs.

How to read the numbers. A concept attested in half of all works (soul, wisdom, virtue) is a common English word, not a connection; those are marked. The count of works a concept reaches also rises with how many editions a work has, so a work with sixty editions collects every tag. Sources: the judged concept vocabulary (page_terms harvest (#4695) over 38,287 books; 62 seed concepts from the theme maps; 8 Claude judges (opus) per JUDGE-RUBRIC.md + second pass by the main session); the per-page terms the OCR and translation prompts write; the four theme maps. Method: scripts/graph/concept-attestation.mjs@1.
